What is the Practice Score Card

The Practice Scorecard is your personalized performance dashboard that shows how your practice is doing—financially, operationally, and clinically—compared to industry standards and top-performing dental offices. It highlights what’s working well and what needs attention so you can take meaningful action.

The Scorecard feature is designed to help dental practices compare critical KPIs to these industry benchmarks, giving you a company barometer for the dental industry. The Practice Scorecard is available to all customers using Jarvis Analytics and integrates with all supported Practice Management Systems.

How does it work?

The Jarvis team aggregated and anonymized data across our entire customer base to identify industry averages and the Top 10% of high performers for each KPI. All 17 KPIs have demonstrated a strong correlation to Practice productivity and profitability and were selected for their importance in diagnosing Practice Health.

About the Data

To obtain these meaningful benchmarks, we calculated industry averages by aggregating and anonymizing data across all the dental practices using Jarvis Analytics. What this means for your data is:

• Your Data Is Never Shared
  • We never expose individual practice data—your information is not visible to others, and no one else’s data is visible to you.
• No Practice Can Be Identified
  • Our calculations are implemented in a way to ensure no one can trace industry averages back to a specific practice or group.
• Aggregated Averages
  • For each metric, we calculate and display one single industry average across all included practices. There is no breakdown by location, specialty, or region—just a straightforward, high-level benchmark.
• Based on Full-Year Data
  • Averages are calculated using data from January 1 to December 31, 2024, to provide a stable and reliable year-over-year benchmark.
• Outliers Removed
  • Extreme values are excluded to prevent skewed results and maintain accuracy.
